WHO guidelines<\/strong>
\nThe WHO website provides information on how Covid spreads between humans and includes updated recommendations for risk mitigation and ventilation.<\/p>\n

It focuses on airborne transmission and downplays contact transmission (through touching objects). This is in line with a recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) research finding, where current evidence suggests that transmission from contaminated surfaces does not contribute significantly to infection.<\/p>\n

WHO’s updated ventilation recommendations set ventilation rates of: 160 liters per second per patient in healthcare settings and 10 liters per second per person in non-residential indoor environments.<\/p>\n
