Description
DryPanel PRO is in a class of its own
All 3 different IR DryPanel models from WMT, model Z, ZI and now the new PRO, win on all parameters over conventional heating panels and adsorption drying with foil tent wall drying – but the brand new Drypanel PRO is in a class of its own.
Crucial new developments that have led to the creation of the new and unrivaled Drypanel Pro:
- New unique frameless Drypanel design and new IR flat panel design.
- Integrated diffusion-open insulation that retains heat in the wall/building materials while dissipating moisture.
- Patented system technology with built-in temperature sensor that controls the dehumidification process.
- Adjustable temperature setting from 35°C to 90°C.
These new developments mean that Drypanel PRO consumes ONLY 220 watts of power per hour, with faster drying times!
Insurance companies save money!
These features make Drypanel PRO the fastest and most energy-efficient IR heating panel on the market. This is good news for insurance companies, who often have to cover the cost of drying water damage. These costs will be significantly reduced by the technology’s fast drying and low energy consumption.
Temperature control and integrated insulation make the difference!
Compared to the 2 other Drypanel models Z and ZI, the new Drypanel PRO has a frameless design and height-adjustable feet, which means that Drypanel PRO is positioned directly on and flush with the wall for full contact and maximum efficiency (heat transfer). Drypanel PRO also uses a newly developed IR flat panel design and contains an integrated diffusion-open insulation material on the side facing away from the wall. These design and construction innovations mean that moisture no longer has to travel the long way to the edge of the heating panel, but now escapes as water vapor directly through the diffusion-open IR surface and after the heating phase also through the back of the wall.
A built-in temperature sensor provides the panel with an automatic on/off function during the drying process. If the temperature is set to the recommended 70°C, power is used until this temperature is reached and the appliance then switches off. If the temperature drops below 70°C, the appliance switches on again to maintain the set value. The recommended drying temperature is set on an LCD display on the side of the panel and we recommend setting the temperature to
70°C Celsius on a standard wetted concrete/brick wall/plastered wall etc.
Drypanel PRO only needs 220 watts per hour (power). This is due to the unique panel design with integrated diffusion-open insulation that retains heat in the wall and temperature sensor that controls the dehumidification process.
Physically automated interval switching!
The temperature sensor constantly measures the temperature at the interface between the IR panel and the humid surface to maintain the set 70°C. Initially, there is relatively high cooling from the wetted surface. This is detected by the temperature sensor and the panel automatically increases the IR heat to maintain the set 70°C. As the wall (building part) dries out, reduced cooling is detected due to lower water vapor diffusion. At the same time, the thermal energy/heat remains in the wall due to the insulation material and Drypanel PRO no longer needs to send the same amount of energy into the wall as at the start when cooling was high due to high water vapor diffusion. The heating panel now only requires a small amount of power to maintain the set 70°C and will now only be turned on when needed. You could say that Drypanel PRO works by a physical automated interval switch.
